Production Process
I used Adobe Photoshop CS5 while I edited the final images for the three graphic design.
First of all I removed the background of the image of the model in order to put it on the graphic design product.
Later on I transformed it with the scale tool. I did it because the size of the professional image didn't meet with the size of the product therefore I changed it size.
After that I tried to use the previous picture but I it didn't meet the size anyway. That's why I chose another image and cropped it in order to have Annie's face closer to be able to see it on the grathic design product.
I added vibrance effect of the image of the model in order to have brighter colour of the image and to be eye-catching.
On the T-shirt and bag I added the inscription with the name of the world tour. I changed the form of the text in the warp text section and chose Arc Lower in order to feet the text on the product.
For the t-shirt image I also changed the size of the image with the scale setting in photoshop.
For the CD's digipack I needed to add six different images and put it there with the right size in order to save the composition of them and to make the cds look attractive.
For the middle image of the digipack I decided to add a picture of the cropped guitar and the round middle of the guitar will be similar to the shape of the CD inside. This would make the illusion that the guitar consists Annie's Cd inside.
Here you can see how I transformed the size of the guitar image in order to make it meet the guitar.
On the black simple CD I decided to add the inscription with the Annie's name. I corrected the style of the text in the warp text section and I made it in the shape of Arc.
Also I corrected the colour of the letter on the cd in order to make it eye-catching.
Here I added the inscriptions on the first layer of the digipack with the name of the Cd and Annie's signature. Together they are making the logo of the tour and her CD.
In order to frame the image I added extra effect the vignette on the image so on the side of it there is a black frame. This make the image look more mystic and interesting.
I decided to clear the Annie's face on the extreme close up image from the spots on her face. I used healing spot brush to do this. This makes the image look more professional. Also Annie is the idol for her target market therefore I tried to make her look natural but her skin should look clear.
On this image I also added the vignette in order to frame it and to make it similar to the image on the front.
On the image at the back side of the digipack I added the list with the name of the songs on the CD inside. I changed the color of the letters in order to make them contrasted to the image of Annie under them.
On the layer with the inscriptions I added special effects such as drop shadow and outer glow. This made the letters look more convex.
First of all, I chose the size of the ticket and put the image of the Annie on it.
Later with the Paint Bucket Tool, I coloured the background of the ticket in light blue and purple colour which meet each other.
And I chose colours in the Color Picker where there is a big variety of different colours.
After this I changed the colour and the font style of the inscription on the ticket.
Also I added the extra effects to the letter such as extra shadows and glow.
I added different images to the background of the ticket. I wore variety of colour splashes to the background and I changed the layer setting. By the change of the opacity I made the colour splash more blur.
Below there is an example of how the blur splash should be look like. The splash seems to be located under the inscription.
When the splashes are completed on the background I added extra effects such as Photo filters, vibrance and change of the brightness.
With the CD cover design I also customised different splashes which might go on the CD itselves and some of them weren't suitable for it.
I cut the hat from models hands to try to make it in form of the actual CD but later on I decided to cut only her fingers and put it on the ordinary black CD.
After that, I put colours on the spaces between the images on the CD cover and put the inscriptions with the singer's name on them.
Below there is an screen shot of how the CD suits in the cover. There is an image of models fingers on it because I wanted to combine the CD and the image behind it. Also I put the colour splash on the black CD to make it looks more eye-catching.
After this I decided to make the cover looks more extraordinary and put some filters on it to change the colour and saturation of the image.
I added the same filter on another side of the CD cover to make it looks similar.
I chose the font style of the letter on the inscription from the big variety of font styles in photoshop.
Same I did with the name of the CD.
While I did the T-shirt I also tried to wear different colour splashes on the background of the regular white shirt to make it look more interesting and attractive for the potential customers.
I transformed the size and duplicated the small birds which are located on the shoulders of the T-shirt. This birds represent the name of the Annie's CD "Fly".
I cropped the picture of the model to put it right on the T-shirt and I added different filter and effects to make it look in more poster style.
I made the slashes looked blur on the background so it would take all the attention from the main image of the model on the T-shirt.I decided to colour the label on the T-shirt into the black to cover the name of the plain T-shirt.
I added the effects of the inscription of the name of singer's album to make it looks interesting and eye-catching for the potential customers.
Commercial Industrial Practices
We have to produce 6000 T-shirts in order to sell it on the Annie's concert. The T-shirt designs should be produced in a large scale therefore the price for each T-shirt will be lower.
After the design would be approved I will connect with the company which is able to produce big amount of designs.
The example of these company I found in the Internet:
http://www.ooshirts.com
I decided to produce the T-shirt in one colour (white) and in a big size range so everyone who wants to buy it will be able to find the appropriate size.
The price for one T-shirt is going to be : £4.5
And the big amount is going to cost : £26989.84
The printed process in bulk is much cheaper than the printing separately. The print of one T-shirt is costed £12.3 in the same company.
Also then we order the T-shirts in bulk, the delivery will be free so we might save some money and time.
The same situation is with tickets. When we need to produce the tickets in bulk the price for one ticket is £.0.03
Information was found on the https://www.ticketprinting.com website.
The price for one ticket is £0.73. As we can see the price different between 1 ticket separate and one in bulk is very different.
And the last part of our graphics design promotional items is CD's cover. It's also much cheaper to order them in bulk.
The problem is with digipacks that we are not able to order more than 5000 copies while we need 6000 therefore we need to order them separately.
The overall cost for 6000 copies in bulk is going to be £3912.46.
